Communication
Weekly (almost) newsletters are updated on my webpage to keep you informed about what is going on in Sage.
Teacher/Student: Communication between the students and myself plays an important role in the SAGE program. If students are having difficulties completing an assignment, communication from parents is not necessary. I feel that students need to feel that they can take responsibility for their own learning, and the first step is communication for themselves. Teacher/Parent: My door is always open to parents. If you have any concerns, questions, or just feel a need to talk about your student, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. THe most effective means of touching base is through the e-mail. I check it several times daily.
Parent/Student: The best way to stay informed is to ask your student. When students are excited about what they are doing they will openly share their experiences.
Teacher/Teacher: The SAGE teacher and classroom teacher are partners in your child's education. Lines of communication between teachers are always open to insure the most enriching and positive environment for students.
